Under the title "Change through Innovation”, small and medium-sized enterprises were able to present innovative, state-funded projects at the Innovation Day for SMEs of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz, BMWK) in Berlin.

The Institute for Embedded Systems and Communication Electronics (ivESK) at Offenburg University of Applied Sciences and the Hahn-Schickard Institute for Micro and Information Technology in Villingen-Schwenningen presented the results of the TestKomm4.0 project in the field of "Digital Transformation shaping".

Within the project, a test environment was developed to enable systematic, automated and reproducible tests, especially for Low Power Wide Area networks (LPWAN) and cellular mobile networks (5G, NB-IoT) for industrial and infrastructure applications. With this test environment the applicability for different use cases should bei validated efficiently.
