plug5G project for real-time capable 5G campus networks launched

On November 22nd 2023 the kick-off meeting for plug5G project "Real-time capable 5G networks for industrial automation" took place in Lemgo.

Over the next two years, the BMWK-funded joint industrial research project (IGF) will develop software elements and tools to integrate Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) technologies into 5G campus networks.

The two research partners Institute for Industrial Information Technology (inIT) of the Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences (TH-OWL) from Lemgo and Institute of Reliable Embedded Systems and Communication Electronics from Offenburg University are supported by eleven companies in a project committee.
