In the ARTORRR project (Applied Research, Development & Teaching for Relevant Research on Secure Distributed IoT Technologies and Embedded Systems) with Sana'a University from Yemen, technologies around the Internet of Things (IoT) and blockchain-based applications are being investigated. Prof. Axel Sikora and Julian Göppert met with the four Yemeni doctoral students involved and their four professors in Cairo for a kickoff workshop. The group will then visit Offenburg in October.

This year, ivESK is involved in three projects in the programme line "Ta'ziz Partnership" of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) with partner universities in the MENA region (Middle East & North Africa).
