The International Scientific Conference on Information, Communication and Energy Systems and Technologies (ICEST Conference) appears to succeed a series of conferences started from 1963 at the Technical University of Sofia (Bulgaria) under the name "Day of the Radio". Today the ICEST Conference is annually organized by the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Bitola, in collaboration with the Faculty of Electronic Engineering in Niš and the Faculty of Telecommunications at the Technical University in Sofia, and co-sponsored by the IEEE Sections of North Macedonia, Bulgaria and Serbia and Montenegro. It was held in Ohrid, Republic of North Macedonia, known as the "Balkan Jerusalem", from June 26 to 28, 2025.
Prof. Sikora was invited to give a keynote presentation, which he did on Jun 27th. The title of his talk was "Industrial IoT- and OT-Networks: Recent Trends in Real-Time and Secure Communication". Also, two scientific papers from ivESK team were accepted at the event.
Anu Sathyajith Mathew was successful with her paper on "State of the Art in Smart Metering Infrastructure Security: A Keyword Co-Occurrence". Jaafer Rahmani had his paper on "Mapping the MITRE ATT&CK Framework to Modbus Cyber Attacks in Industrial OT Networks".
