INES & ivESK at the ASIMUTE Midterm Workshop in Kehl

On July 3rd, 2025, teams from INES (Institut für nachhaltige Energiesysteme) and ivESK (Institute of Reliable Embedded Systems and Communication Electronics) of Hochschule Offenburg participated in the midterm workshop of the Interreg project ASIMUTE, hosted at Hochschule Kehl.

Ivan Rigoev from ivESK presented key insights from Work Package 12 on Smart Grid Infrastructure and Smart Metering Security.

Sylvia Wüst from INES shared results from Work Package 13, focusing on Robust decentralized energy management procedures with low data exchange and high interoperability.

The workshop provided an excellent opportunity for cross-border exchange between German, French and Swiss partners – and for discussing next steps to strengthen a resilient and sustainable regional energy system.
