The AuProZert project (Automated and Validated Process Generation for Seamless Certificate Management in Industrial Fieldbus Devices and Systems) is designing, implementing and validating a methodology to facilitate the setup and operation of key and certificate management. A "virtual assistant" shall provide support in such a way that key and certificate management can be done securely and reliably without in-depth knowledge of the subject matter.
On July 3, 2025, a meeting of the project steering committee was held at Offenburg University of Applied Sciences, at which staff from the Institute of Reliable Embedded Systems and Communication Electronics (ivESK) and the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits (FhG-IIS) in Nuremberg presented the interim results of the project and engaged in intensive discussions with the companies involved in the project. The project is managed by the German Research Association for Automation and Microelectronics (DFAM) as a research association.
