Representatives of the project partners as well as the German Aerospace Center (DLR), managing the project, met to present the results of the stic5G project and to celebrate its successful finalization.

The German-French stic5G consortium was funded over a period of three years by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) and the French ministries. The project focused on the research and demonstration of approaches for the integration of Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) into private 5G networks. This technology enables reliable, time-critical data transmission in industrial communication environments and represents a key component for the connected production of the future.

The ivESK led the consortium and coordinated the collaboration between research and industry partners. The final meeting provided an opportunity to present the project results, reflect on the three years of collaborative work, and discuss potential follow-up projects.

stic5G has made a significant contribution to the development of industrial communication systems and to strengthening German-French research cooperation in the field of 5G. The findings from the project provide an important foundation for future advancements in connected industrial production.

The project partners would like to express their sincere thanks to the German and French ministries for their funding, as well as to the DLR project sponsor and BPI France for their professional support and guidance throughout the project.

stic5G has demonstrated how cross-border collaboration can effectively support the practical research and application of innovative technologies in industry.
