WFCS205 in Rostock and WFCS2026 in Offenburg

From June 10 to 13 the 21st International IEEE Conference on Factory Communication Systems (WFCS 2025) took place at University of Rostock.

WFCS is one of the most important IEEE conferences and deals specifically with communication for industrial automation systems. The ivESK was represented with two contributions. Manuel Schappacher gave a presentation on "A YANG Model-Based Approach for Configuration and Management of 5G-TSN Bridges", while Prof. Sikora presented a paper by Mohammed Wahhab, a joint doctoral student with Al-Nahrain University in Baghdad, on "A Wireless TSN Scheduling Algorithm Based on Strict Priority with Dynamic Queues".
