Siemens Foundational Technologies, Research & Pre-Development (Siemens FT RPD), the corporate research division of Siemens AG, operates the Siemens Technology Center on the Garching research campus. On March 3, 2026, Prof. Sikora followed an invitation from the Industrial Networks & Wireless group to present ivESK. He first gave a keynote speech entitled "Conceptualization, Implementation, and Validation of Heterogeneous, Real-Time, and Secure IIoT Protocols – Activities & Trends", followed by a detailed discussion on project opportunities among the participants.
