The OMS Group e.V. is an interest group of associations and companies. With the Open Metering System Specification, it has developed an open, manufacturer-independent standard for communication interfaces and basic requirements for devices.
The ivESK at Offenburg University of Applied Sciences is particularly involved in the Security Task Force, which Prof. Sikora heads as convener. The FlexGUIde and ASIMUTE research projects in particular benefit from the direct exchange with representatives of associations and companies.
