At Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, a fifth wireless testbed funded by the National Science Foundation (NFS) for "Agriculture and Rural Communities" (ARA) under the Platforms for Advanced Wireless Research (PAWR) program was officially opened with a three-day workshop. Prof. Sikora was invited to give a lightning talk about his own experiences with the Offenburg testbeds and communication solutions.
