At the ETFA2024 conference in Padua, ivESK researcher Kedar Naik presented joint work with co-authors Manuel Schappacher, Dominik Welte, and Axel Sikora, titled "Monitoring Time Synchronization Precision: Implementation, Validation, and Low-Cost PPS Measurement Mechanism for gPTP Monitoring." The paper discussed and evaluated various monitoring methods for gPTP and introduced a low-cost PPS measurement technique. Tested under diverse conditions, this approach aims to enhance network synchronization accuracy while maintaining low implementation costs.
