He completed his doctoral thesis as a research assistant at the ivESK under the supervision of Prof Axel Sikora, who supervised it as part of his association with the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Freiburg. The topic of his thesis was "MEMS-based Physical Unclonable Functions", which offer a lightweight security solution for IoT systems.
