After a successful presentation at the TSN/A last week, the demonstrator for time synchronization within 5G TSN campus networks was presented from 07-08 October at the Days of Digital Technologies.

Manuel Schappacher showed how precise devices can be synchronized within a 5G campus network, which was set up together with the TU Dresden and the "Hahn-Schickard-Gesellschaft für angewandte Forschung e.V.".

The project "stic5G - Safe TSN for Industrial-Grade Real-Time Campus 5G" is developing a unified 5G real-time solution to increase connectivity in industrial environments for employees, machines and tools in both indoor and outdoor scenarios by combining hybrid wired and wireless networks to realize more efficient and flexible production processes.

The "stic5G" project is funded in Germany by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection and in France by the Ministère de l'Économie, des Finances et de la Souveraineté industrielle et numérique.
