As part of the DAAD project “Dama - Data Analytics for Mycetoma Research Center”, researchers from the Sudanese Comboni College of Science and Technology (CCST) and the ivESK at Offenburg University of Applied Sciences are working on the analysis of health data from mycosis patients. Now the rector of CCST, Dr. Jorge Naranjo Alcaide, has visited Offenburg for a project meeting. The Spanish Comboni missionary, who has been working in the region for many years, also took the opportunity to give a presentation on the project “ML-based Research on Mycetoma in Sudan”, which was met with great interest. This project is funded by the DAAD with funds from the Federal Foreign Office in the program line “Ta'ziz Short-Term Measures” in the “Ta'ziz Partnership” program.
