The meeting took place at the location of the consortium leader DECOIT® GmbH & Co KG in Bremen to discuss the progress of the project in person. The aim of the project is to design, implement and optimize a SIEM system for highly reliable industrial IoT and OT networks.

The first two work packages have now been completed, meaning that the requirements (WP1) have been formulated in detail and the attack scenarios (WP2) have been systematically described. The construction of the test laboratories for the IT and OT networks is now in full swing. DECOIT® is expanding its scan box for IP-based IT networks, while the Institute for Reliable Embedded Systems and Communication Electronics (ivESK) at Offenburg University of Applied Sciences is developing a laboratory setup in which industrial OT networks that may not use the Internet protocol can be investigated flexibly and extensibly. The first implementations in Offenburg are based on PROFINET and Modbus components. TSN networks will be added.

The partners also discussed the important tasks of publishing the project results and the work in progress. At least three submissions to various IEEE conferences are planned in the coming weeks.
